The Igarapé Institute is an independent think and do tank based in Rio de Janeiro, devoted to integrating security, climate and development agendas. It focuses on citizen security, digital security, climate security and drug policy, combining research, new technologies and partnerships with governments and civil society across Latin America and beyond to propose data-driven solutions for preventing and reducing violence.
