CRIES - Coordinadora Regional de Investigaciones Económicas y Sociales
CRIES is a network of research centres, NGOs and academic institutions across Latin America and the Caribbean, founded in 1982 and headquartered in Buenos Aires. It promotes research and regional dialogue on conflict prevention, regional integration and the role of civil society in peace and security, coordinating initiatives such as the regional platform on the responsibility to protect and publishing the journal Pensamiento Propio.

Institute for Economics & Peace
The Institute for Economics & Peace (IEP) is an independent, non-partisan, non-profit think tank dedicated to shifting the world's focus to peace as a positive, achievable and tangible measure of human wellbeing and progress. IEP is best known for producing the annual Global Peace Index, which ranks 163 states and territories by their level of peacefulness, alongside research on Positive Peace, the economic cost of violence, and ecological threats. Headquartered in Sydney, IEP maintains offices in New York, Brussels, The Hague, Mexico City and Nairobi.
Sydney Peace Foundation
The Sydney Peace Foundation, based at the University of Sydney, awards Australia's only international prize for peace, the Sydney Peace Prize, recognising those who advance peace with justice, human rights and nonviolence. Beyond the annual prize, the Foundation promotes public engagement with peace and justice issues through lectures, events and educational activities.

Austrian Centre for Peace
The Austrian Centre for Peace (ACP) was founded in 1982 by Dr Gerald Mader and other like-minded people. We are located at Schlaining Castle in Southern Burgenland, with a second office in Vienna, the nation’s capital. Our work has earned us the status of UN “Peace Messenger” and a UNESCO “Prize for Peace Education”. The ACP is an independent, non-profit and non-partisan organisation. It is engaged in research, education/training and practical conflict transformation.
International Institute for Peace
The International Institute for Peace (IIP) is a Vienna-based non-governmental organisation with consultative status at the United Nations, founded in 1957. The IIP fosters dialogue on peace and security in Europe and beyond, organising public debates, conferences and publications on conflict resolution, multilateralism, disarmament and the future of European security.

Flemish Peace Institute
In 2004, the Flemish Peace Institute was established as a paraparliamentary organisation within the Flemish Parliament. On the initiative of the members of the Sub-commission on Arms Trade, the decree establishing the Flemish Institute for Peace and Prevention of Violence was adopted with a large majority of votes by the plenary session of Parliament on 5 May 2004. The decree determines the four tasks of the Institute. For its operation, the Peace Institute receives a working allowance from the Flemish Parliament.
International Crisis Group
The International Crisis Group is an independent organisation working to prevent wars and shape policies that will build a more peaceful world. Founded in 1995 and headquartered in Brussels, Crisis Group combines field research, analysis and high-level advocacy. Its analysts, based in or near many of the world's conflict zones, produce detailed reports and the monthly CrisisWatch conflict tracker to inform decision-makers and the wider public.

Vredesactie (Peace Action) is a pluralist peace movement that radically pleads for a society in which conflicts are resolved without violence or the threats of it. Vredesactie is an engine for the development of nonviolent action and the implementation of a pacifist peace policy.

Peace Education Hub
A group of academics from the Institute of Development Studies (University of Sussex), the University of the Arts (London), the University of Rwanda, the University of Sarajevo and Los Andes University (Bogota, Colombia) are involved in an AHRC research project looking at Peacebuilding Pedagogies in Higher Education. Among many goals that this Research Network has set in its project, the following are some of the underlying principles that guide the activities of our collaborative efforts:
to develop peace hubs of academics from our different countries and regions;
to discuss and reflect on how we might develop a culture of peacebuilding with our students through educational initiatives and collaborative research in peace building pedagogies;
to work on educating students and teachers on how to work for peace and nonviolence in their classrooms, in their schools and in education in general.
It is within this Network that the idea was born to start the University Peace Education Hub Sarajevo which is seen as a space where different forms of knowledge will be brought together and provide an entry point into the university where community members, community organizations, practitioners and all alternative forms of knowledge, will collaborate for a critical exchange and learning with the members of the academia and university students, in order to explore the possibilities of collaborative projects and work on peace building and promoting the culture of peace.

Post-Conflict Research Center (PCRC) is a women-led, peacebuilding organization and research center dedicated to fostering a culture of peace and preventing violent conflict in the Western Balkans by creating, implementing, and supporting evidence-based, multidisciplinary, and innovative approaches to peace education, creative multimedia, conflict prevention, post-conflict research, human rights, and transitional justice.
