African Peace Research ad Education Association (AFPREA) is an African regional organization of International Peace Research Association (IPRA). AFPREA is a voluntary non-profit international scientific association of researchers and educators. The purpose of AFPREA is to advance research into the conditions of peace and the causes of war and other forms of violence. To this end AFPREA engages in global cooperation for the advancement of peace research .

The APPRA has a mission to contribute to the realization of the fullness of peace, justice and humanity through peace research; peace education; and peace advocacy. Thus, APPRA focuses to advance interdisciplinary research on the conditions of peace and the causes of war and violence in all their manifestations. To this end APPRA facilitates international collaboration designed to assist the advancement of peace research, education and action, and in particular to promote national and international studies and teachings relating to the pursuit of international peace in accordance with the principle of freedom of scientific research; and to facilitate contacts between peace researchers, educators and advocates as well as specialists in conflict resolution throughout the Asia-Pacific region, the aim of these contacts being the enhancement of peace research, peace education and peace advocacy.

At CLAIP we are focused on stimulating research and action for peace in Latin America, seeking to transform it into a channel for renewing scientific activity and the political practice of the different people and institutions that converge through our networks and nodes. At CLAIP we aim to contribute to the definitive overcoming of the obstacles that oppose the social coexistence of human beings without domination or privileges, both at the internal level of nations and at the international level from a perspective that strengthens nonviolent action, collective work, the search for the common good and structuring solidarity.

The essential functions of the European Peace Research Association are to provide a permanent European forum for peace researchers, to stimulate and promote national and international research and education relating to the pursuit of peace, to facilitate contacts between scholars throughout Europe and to encourage the international dissemination of information on peace research and its results. EuPRA is one of the four regional, independent organizations committed to Peace research, and contributing to the International Peace Research Association (IPRA).
