Barcelona International Peace Center (BIPC)
The Barcelona International Peace Center (BIPC) is an initiative aimed to promote the culture of peace through dialogue, awareness-raising, and training in crisis management and conflict resolution. Created in 2009 by the Barcelona City Council in the context of the historical recovery process of the Montjuïc Castle. In 2017, the Center becomes a fully independent non-profit initiative hosted nowadays by the Valors Humans Foundation. With a unique model in Catalonia and in Spain, the Center for Peace is inspired by the philosophy of centers around the world specializing in crisis management and peace operations.

El Barcelona International Peace Center (BIPC) es una iniciativa destinada a promover la cultura de paz a través del diálogo, la sensibilización y la formación en gestión de crisis y resolución de conflictos. Creado en 2009 por el Ayuntamiento de Barcelona en el marco del proceso de recuperación histórica del Castillo de Montjuïc. En 2017, el Centro se convierte en una iniciativa sin ánimo de lucro totalmente independiente acogida actualmente por la Fundación Valors Humans. Con un modelo único en Cataluña y en España, el Centro por la Paz se inspira en la filosofía de centros de todo el mundo especializados en gestión de crisis y operaciones de paz.

المعهد الكتالوني الدولي للسلام هو منظمة للبحوث والنشر والعمل أنشأها برلمان كتالونيا في عام 2007 لتعزيز السلام في المجتمع الكتالوني وعلى الصعيد الدولي وجعل كتالونيا تلعب دورًا نشطًا كعامل سلام في العالم. المعهد الدولي للسلام هو مؤسسة عامة، ولكنه في الوقت نفسه مستقل بشخصيته القانونية. ويهدف إلى دعم الإدارات العامة والعالم الأكاديمي والمجتمع المدني ويقدم تقاريره إلى البرلمان والحكومة والمواطنين.
International Catalan Institute for Peace
The International Catalan Institute for Peace is a research, dissemination and action organization created by the Parliament of Catalonia in 2007 to promote peace in Catalan society and internationally and make Catalonia play an active role as an agent of peace in the world. ICIP is a public institution, but at the same time, it is independent with its legal personality. It aims to support public administrations, the academic world and civil society and reports to Parliament, the Government and the citizenry.

El Instituto Catalán Internacional por la Paz es un organismo de investigación, difusión y acción creado por el Parlamento de Cataluña en 2007 para promover la paz en la sociedad catalana y en el ámbito internacional y hacer que Cataluña juegue un papel activo como agente de paz en el mundo. El ICIP es una institución pública, pero al mismo tiempo independiente con personalidad jurídica propia. Tiene como objetivo dar apoyo a las administraciones públicas, al mundo académico y a la sociedad civil y rinde cuentas al Parlamento, al Gobierno y a la ciudadanía.
