The Master in Human Rights, Peace & Development programme offers advanced education on human rights, today’s challenges to peace and non-violence, and sustainable human development, delving into the mutual interdependence and complementarity of these three areas as privileged fields of increasingly interdisciplinary research. On the one hand, the academic interest of the course lies in the specialization that it provides students with (who often have very different backgrounds) for voluntary work, and on the other, its professional focus empowers them to work in NGOs, international organizations, national civil services, etc. in the field of human rights, humanitarian aid and development cooperation. Duration The duration of the programme is 18 months. The maximum period allowed for a student to complete the requirements for the award of the Masters degree in Human Rights, Peace and Development shall be in accordance with the University general regulations for graduate programmes.
