Description
The Life & Peace Institute (LPI) is an international centre for nonviolent conflict transformation founded in 1985 and based in Uppsala. LPI works with local partners in the Horn of Africa and the Great Lakes region, supporting community-based peacebuilding, dialogue processes and civil society capacity, and connecting local experience to national, regional and international policy through research and advocacy.
