Description
The Hiroshima Peace Institute is a research institute of Hiroshima City University, established in 1998 in the city that suffered the first atomic bombing. The Institute conducts interdisciplinary research on the abolition of nuclear weapons, peacebuilding and conflict resolution, and contributes to peace education and public discourse from Hiroshima's distinctive perspective on war and nuclear catastrophe.
