Description
Fambul Tok ("family talk" in Krio) is a community-led reconciliation programme founded in Sierra Leone in 2007 to address the legacy of the country's civil war. Drawing on traditional practices of truth-telling, apology and forgiveness, it supports village-level ceremonies and dialogue that bring victims and perpetrators together. It has since shared this approach with other post-conflict countries.
