Description
CRIES is a network of research centres, NGOs and academic institutions across Latin America and the Caribbean, founded in 1982 and headquartered in Buenos Aires. It promotes research and regional dialogue on conflict prevention, regional integration and the role of civil society in peace and security, coordinating initiatives such as the regional platform on the responsibility to protect and publishing the journal Pensamiento Propio.
