RUniPace هي شبكة الجامعات الإيطالية من أجل السلام التي يروج لها مؤتمر رؤساء الجامعات الإيطالية. تنضم إليها الجامعات التي تستلهم عملها من المبادئ الأساسية للدستور وميثاق الأمم المتحدة والمعاهدات التأسيسية للاتحاد الأوروبي ومنظمة الأمن والتعاون في أوروبا ومجلس أوروبا، إدراكاً منها بأن نبذ الحرب كأداة للاعتداء على حرية الشعوب الأخرى وكوسيلة لتسوية النزاعات الدولية; الإيمان بحقوق الإنسان الأساسية وبكرامة الإنسان وقيمته؛ والالتزام بالتعاون من أجل الحفاظ على السلام ومنع التهديدات للسلام؛ ومكافحة عدم المساواة والفقر، وهي قيم أساسية للنظام الدستوري الإيطالي والقانون الدولي والقانون الدولي والاتحاد الأوروبي ومختلف اتفاقيات التعاون الدولي التي تعد إيطاليا طرفًا فيها.

RUniPace is the Network of Italian Universities for Peace promoted by the Conference of Italian University Rectors. It is joined by universities that inspire their action on the fundamental principles of the Constitution, the United Nations Charter, the founding Treaties of the European Union, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, and the Council of Europe, in the awareness that the repudiation of war as an instrument of offence against the freedom of other peoples and as a means of settling international disputes; faith in fundamental human rights, in the dignity and worth of the human person; the obligation to cooperate in order to maintain peace and prevent threats to peace; the fight against inequality and poverty they are founding values of the Italian constitutional order, of international law, of that of the European Union and of the various international cooperation agreements to which Italy is a party.

RUniPace es la Red de Universidades Italianas por la Paz promovida por la Conferencia de Rectores de las Universidades Italianas. The European Institute of Peace designs and delivers sustainable peace processes and agreements. We provide practical experience, technical expertise and policy advice on conflict resolution. Based in Brussels and active in over a dozen countries, we combine the operational flexibility of an independent organisation with the diplomatic reach associated with our board and our proximity to the European Union. Our vision is a world where people live in safety and peace because conflicts and grievances are resolved through inclusive dialogue and lasting political agreements. We live in increasingly complex times, marked by demographic shifts, emerging sources of political power, technological innovation, climate change and growing inequality. More coherent and sustainable approaches to conflict resolution and prevention are needed. The EU and European actors have a vital contribution to make, drawing upon their global reach, political and economic heft and commitment to human rights. Flemish Peace Institute

Flemish Peace Institute
In 2004, the Flemish Peace Institute was established as a paraparliamentary organisation within the Flemish Parliament. On the initiative of the members of the Sub-commission on Arms Trade, the decree establishing the Flemish Institute for Peace and Prevention of Violence was adopted with a large majority of votes by the plenary session of Parliament on 5 May 2004. The decree determines the four tasks of the Institute. For its operation, the Peace Institute receives a working allowance from the Flemish Parliament.

En 2004, se creó el Instituto Flamenco de la Paz como organización paraparlamentaria en el seno del Parlamento flamenco. A iniciativa de los miembros de la Subcomisión sobre el Comercio de Armas, el decreto por el que se crea el Instituto Flamenco para la Paz y la Prevención de la Violencia fue aprobado con una amplia mayoría de votos por el pleno del Parlamento el 5 de mayo de 2004. El decreto determina las cuatro tareas del Instituto. Para su funcionamiento, el Instituto para la Paz recibe una asignación de trabajo del Parlamento flamenco.
